Influenced by my Italian heritage and growing up in NE Victoria, I was influenced by bringing people together generally around food – and a lot of it!

With a background in business development for Regional Victoria local council, Business Events Sydney, DMS – Destination Marketing Services, Mary-Jane moved to Melbourne in 2003 and Fusion was born to represent boutique suppliers to the national events market.

While industry trends, sales & marketing tools change constantly, our objectives to drive sales strategy through ethical principles, storytelling, great service & trusted relationships are the same.

I am passionate about helping businesses develop their sales potential through sales representation, marketing, sales training, mentoring, coaching & consultancy. Organically, our services have expanded to assist companies outside of tourism, including mentoring women entrepreneurs.

In 2016, Mary-Jane was a finalist in the Travel Weekly Women for Salesperson of the Year & Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) State Finalist for ‘Business Development Person of the Year’ Award.

Elke Bellgrove is Corporate Business Development Executive for our corporate & associations market nationally for our collection of hotels, venues & suppliers.

With over 18 years’ experience in business development & event operations across a broad range of international & Australian hospitality, sporting events including Australian Grand Prix Corporate and Cricket Australia. Most recently, Elke was Business Development Manager for Flight Centre Travel Group and founder of PA Pages, Australia’s first online resource for Office Professionals.

Elke understands the importance of building and maintaining successful business relationships as well as operational event management for our clients. With this combination Elke is able to “think outside the box” to work with our partners & corporate clients to match their event requirements.
